Margaux’s work focuses on sensorial research through different medium, combining traditions and modernity. In 2016, she conceived Immersion, a mixed media art project aimed at providing a deep and dynamic experience of Vietnam. At that time, she was in the midst of her third year living in Hanoi, and felt compelled to create a representation of this country through different senses and perspective. Collaborating with artists, both foreign and Vietnamese, each having experienced their own nuanced version of the country, they felt the same compulsion. Through audiovisual installations, the artists provided a sensorial and abstract exploration of Vietnam. The project merged art, sound and culture, to experience the many sides of this diverse dynamic, untranslatable country which had profoundly affected them all.
